Slave Types
The most common form of slave on Gor, is the female who can be used as a pleasure slave.
Most believe that some ninety
percent of Gorean slaves are female, who must figure into their duties, the
serving of the pleasure of men. Even the miserable females in the fields,
or those in kitchens and laundries, know that upon occasion they will be used
by Masters.
The most valuable slave, is that of the particularly desirable female. These
are usually extraordinarily beautiful Gorean girls, once of high caste. A
captured, enslaved, Ubara would commonly bring a very handsome price. Sometimes
they are dancers, and highly trained. They can be passion slaves, girls literally
bred for the pleasure of men.
The least valuable slaves are often female work slaves purchased for the public kitchens or laundries.
Some slaves even have professional
competencies like in law, medicine or scribe. They may have once belonged
to that Caste. They thus possess skills in those areas though they are no
longer considered members of the Caste. Many people frown upon slaves using
such skills, especially where those skills may place the slave in a position
of power or trust.

*Other types of Slavery
Very few male slaves are considered valuable and they generally do not garner high prices, even at auction. The primary exceptions are male silk slaves and exotics. The normal high price for a male slave, not a silk slave or exotic, is a silver tarsk.
Gorean males very rarely make good silk slaves. Mostly because they are smaller in number as opposed to female slaves on Gor, generally speaking male slaves are for working. In some cities like Ar, an unchained male slave is rarely ever seen.
In battles, the male defenders are usually slaughtered or driven off.
